What a wicked game last Thursday. I was glad I was able to get it at work so I could watch my BMO Habitants play so well. No one at work seemed to care (they're more upset about the Canucks' recent laughable woes) - except when a fight broke out. Good times!

Well that was a nice game, wasn't it? Go Carey Price and friends. I can't believe some of the non-calls I saw. Rough is rough but some of the crap the Penguins pulled was downright thuggy. Thanks to my new job and the commute that goes with it, I haven't been able to see any of the Habs games yet this season. They come on at 4:30 every afternoon usually - I've only missed one, but still - my hockey season begins tonight. I'm pumped.

Well, the second year in my awesome hockey team's Habs franchise has ended and we won the Stanley Cup - again - with four sweeps (of the NYR, PHI, NJ, and STL, in that order). My brother and I have played the last two full seasons together and it's been record breaking, even by our standards - a perfect playoff record, a 75-6-1 regular season ( Read more... )

Yes, that game was nasty. And a roller coaster ride that ended badly. Stupid, stupid Habs - it was our own fault we lost. We were the lesser of two bad teams. My playoff love has waned greatly, even though the Canucks have made it.

That said, at least my first love was not eliminated from my life - nor will she ever be. :)
